Renaissance Chic

I believe that this dress and I were meant to be. I'm telling you, I just bought this dress three weeks ago and it has disappeared from the Nordstrom website. It's as if the sartorial gods came down in one shining moment and this dress appeared before me. In my size.

It was the only one left in the store.

I was looking for an outfit that would say Renaissance without being too Renaissance to wear anywhere else. This was exactly it. I felt like a queen, or at least like I leapt out of Game of Thrones.

I was rooming with my childhood friend and art school alum, Adrienne Ankuda, and I totally credit her for these gorgeous shots. She knew how to give life to this amazing outfit. The photos really reflect how amazing I felt in it.

Isn't Bar Harbor amazing? All of these photos were taken around the Bar Harbor Inn, where the wedding was taking place. It was right along the Shore Path, so we ventured down to the rocks to take some gorgeous photos of the scenery. I wanted you to get an idea of where I was!

All it takes is a great outfit, an amazing photographer and some killer lighting.
