My rule is to never turn down the opportunity to wear black tie. I think a woman needs every opportunity in her life to feel incredibly elegant, and there's no better reason then a ball to go all-out.

I remember spotting this dress and thinking to myself, "If I get an excuse to buy this, it's happening." Fortunately, G gave me a reason only one week later when he told me that his law school was throwing a ball. I went out and snagged this beauty only two short days later, and there was only one left in my size! If that wasn't the stars aligning in my favor, I don't know what is.
