Slipping into Summer

It's that time of year again. Time to break out my swimwear and soak up a little sun.

And by soak up a little sun I mean cover myself in sunblock and floppy hats to better avoid getting any type of tan.

Despite being able to enjoy the sand and surf year-round in Miami, I really only remember to hit the beach during the spring and summer months. I guess I'll never really be off of that northern, seasonal clock.

I'm so in love with this hat from Dixieland Monogram! I'm really big on having sun protection (because who likes skin cancer?), and this is the prettiest way I can think of to protect myself from those rays... and black is always in style. My other essentials include this amazing bikini from Albion, statement sunnies from Blue Planet Eyewear and Soludos espadrilles.

We may only be a little ways into spring, but I'm already soaking up summer.
