If my last winter in New York taught me anything, it's the importance of a good hat.
I was on my way home from an interview on a particularly miserable and snowy day when I could feel my hair starting to get soaked through. As it did, my head became frozen. I couldn't stand it anymore. I ran into the nearest store (my local LF) and grabbed this fun moustache beanie.
Shoes: Jessica Simpson (similar here), Bag: Kate Spade (similar here), Necklace: Nordstrom (similar here),
Sunglasses: Ray-Ban.
I also think it adds a fun vibe to a warm-weather look. It transcends "I'm just wearing this because I need clothing" to an outfit with some thought put into it. A warm climate provides it's own creative wardrobe challenges.
Speaking of which, I just discovered StyleUp! It's a fantastic website that, when you sign up, will send you daily outfit inspirations based on the weather in your area. It takes all of the guesswork out of getting dressed in the morning. The more feedback you give on the outfit posts, the more content StyleUp will give you that you'd enjoy. Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Nice outfit and beanie, too bad you had to learn the hard way hehe. And thanks for sharing that website, will check it out. See you around.
