Picture this: Pokémon GO! has just come out. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is right around the corner. You're shopping for fall boots online. Those beautiful brown ones that lace up to right above the ankles, the ones that you imagine Elizabeth Bennet wore on her walks.

Then you see them. The Jeffrey Campbell "Fawkes" booties. Named after Dumbledore's faithful pet and wand-core donor for both Voldemort and Harry, the phoenix featured on the boots also looks strikingly similar to Moltres... which just so happens to be the mascot for your Pokémon GO! team. Plus the sorting hat placed you in Gryffindor years ago. It's like they were sent from heaven to be on your feet.

So you ditch the walking boots in favor of Fawkes. No regrets.
