TECHNICALLY my bloggiversary is on 8/13, but I feel as long as I hit it on the same month we've got this post covered, right? Right. So here it is! Year four of The Luxe Lion and my favorite, favorite posts of the year. Hope you guys love them as much as I do.

First up is my first post with these amazing Jeffrey Campbell booties. I've gotten more compliments on these babies than I have anything else in my wardrobe, and for good reason. They're classic, but come packed with a ton of personality (but not that awful trendy kind of personality). I could see myself wearing these forever. 

Next is the bag I can't live without. This is my everyday work bag, and it's reversible so it can go with ANYTHING. While I love love LOVE this bag, I think I'm heading in the direction of getting a really great backpack so I can keep myself hands free when I go into the office. I'd need something leather and exceptionally chic so I didn't feel like I was heading back to school. 

Next up is the post featuring my ULTIMATE shoe crush, the Miu Miu Holiday 2011 glitter booties. At first I thought I wanted a contrasting silver/colored suede shoe, but spotting these all black beauties made me change my mind. They go with everything, and when you're capsuling that's the most valuable thing in the whole wide world. 

Then we have a moto-chic look that I wore in Lakeland, and I love this particular outfit mostly because it makes me look tall and skinny. Anything outfit that can make me feel extra confident deserves a favorite look of the year feature!

I LOVE this streamlined look. The boots SLAY me but the top and the glasses add a bit of whimsy. These boots are my forever crush, and even though I don't wear heels a lot any more, I'm keeping them in my rotation because they are just SO darn cool.

Art Basel. The one time a year I see JUST how hipster I can get. The fact that all of the shows I went to were in Wynwood made it even worse (or better, depending on your perspective). A felt hat and chambray top tied around the waist gives it a grade of A+ in the hipster handbook. 

Holiday dressing is always a favorite of mine, but since my style has evolved to more pants and tops combos, I decided to steer clear of the feminine dresses and create a look that worked with my new style. Something I felt really confident in. This all-black ensemble did just that (and I can't get over how awesome that blazer is)!

New job? New clothes. My progression on my career path called for something sleek and stylish, like a striped dress under a long vest and some fashion-forward mules. They go perfectly with the Design District, don't you think?

I have to shout out this black and white look. It was a part of my partnership with Addict Miami, and that ZARA top is one of my favorite things in my closet. I'm not a huge fan of ZARA's quality, but this top has lasted and lasted.

Now I've jinxed it, though, so next wash I guarantee it'll fall apart.

Next up is my favorite white and green look, with a ZARA top that fell apart only a few short months later (RIP). The trick to wearing an oversized piece is to keep the rest of your look very slimming, so you don't lose your shape in your clothes.

Can you tell I really loved the looks I created for ADDICT? Yeah, and these rose gold sneaks just kill it for me. They're elevated enough to pair with a nice dress and not make the look fall apart. Finally this AMAZING and fun look taken by my awesome friend Raquel in Wynwood. Perfectly casual, perfectly summery and so darn easy. All I had to do was throw on a hat and it looked like a totally styled outfit. 

Four years, it's hard to believe how much time has passed since I started this little blog! Thanks for continuing to follow along, even as my posts get less frequent. I don't think I'll ever get back to my original 3x a week schedule, but you can still expect a few posts a month from me! I'm hoping to get myself to a once-a-week schedule, so I'm not completely MIA from your lives!
