Nautical Stripes

Over the New Year's week[end] my family and I headed to Saint Augustine, an old Spanish town established in the 1500's that is nestled on Florida's Atlantic coast. I fell in love with the cobblestone streets and old buildings instantly, and practically begged my sister to come take pictures with me as soon as we got there.

It was really appropriate that my outfit sported nautical stripes and linen, given the town's history with pirates. A happy packing accident, for sure.

The caged booties were perfect for day one, made for both exploring and adding a little bit of height. Basically, a requirement in these pants. Otherwise I'm cut off at the ankles.

I think the best part about the town is it's walkability, which is something that's sorely lacking in South Florida. It really had a different vibe, and I just couldn't get enough of it.
