Swim Week Fun!
Well, Swim Week has once again come and gone and I can officially say that I had more fun this year than I did the previous two!
These are some shots from Escape Miami's 4th Annual bash at Sagamore and Surfing Magazine's Swimsuit Issue party at Nautilus. Escape was true to Miami form. There were tons of on-trend vendors, cocktails galore and girls running around in itty bitty vibrant bikinis decked out in body glitter and rainbow hair.
In I walk wearing a maxi dress and denim vest next to all of these Miami models in teeny-weeny bikinis. However, between getting a fashion sketch and calligraphy done, I hardly noticed them walking by... and did I mention there were cocktails? That probably helped with forgetting that I wasn't the tallest, most scantily-clad woman in the room.
Between the make-your-own summer scent booth from Akscent Perfumes and the Bloomingdale's lounge, there was something there for every fashion and beauty lover.
Surfing Magazine was a little less crazy... but only a little. When you head out to their pool area, you find yourself under a gorgeous bamboo-covered walkway. A turn to the left takes you to the pool; keep going straight and you appear, as if by magic, on the beach.
One of my favorite beauty brands, Stila, had a booth set up there, so coming home with that swag was pretty exciting. I'm especially excited about the beauty blender I landed, I can't wait to show you guys how it works! iShine365, a local favorite, also had a great set up... and there was vendors serving popsicles made out of wine. Which was probably my second-favorite thing I saw at Nautilus next to the bamboo. That's probably the main thing that made this event feel less Miami to me. As they say, location location location!
How fun, sounds like a blast! I love Stila, how great to get some goodies from them!
ReplyDeleteIt was a great time! Stila is one of my favorites, too. Definitely a treat to get some stuff from them. xoxo
