Sunday Polo
Not too long ago I had the pleasure of going to not just any Sunday brunch. Living in Palm Beach means that many Sundays, brunch involves watching famous foreign men ride horses around a field chasing after a teeny tiny ball. This was the first time I'd discovered the joy of polo brunch.
We brunched on the outside patio, while inside the main building lay rows upon rows of every brunch food you could think of (except my favorite, eggs benedict, sadly). Despite missing my staple, I did get my hands on quite a few mimosas. If I couldn't have my eggs, I was glad to be able to get my champaign.
One of my friends came back from her second round of dessert with a pile of macarons, my favorite French dessert. I had to restrain myself from going up and getting an entire plate for myself, I was so thrilled.

There were plenty of opportunities to go out on the field and interact with the polo players and the horses. I even managed to snag a few roses during the awards ceremony at the end of the game!
