Summer Staples

There's nothing quite like summertime, and even though it gets ridiculously hot down here there's just something about it that keeps things slow and steady. Summer weekends are quite possibly my favorite of the whole year, rivaling even the holidays for my affection.

Maybe it's because I'm a Leo and incredibly biased.

It's hard to find me out of shorts and a tee or tank in the summer. I'll go dressier, like I did here, and put on a blousier version of the tank for brunches and get-togethers, but if I'm hanging out in the apartment it's a tee and shorts, nothing else will do.

I also snatched this Rebecca Minkoff for a steal at Nordstrom Rack, and it's my new go-to bag. I don't think I've worn anything else for the last two weeks. It's classic, yet fun thanks to the fringe details on the zippers.
