White After Labor Day

I missed NYFW this year because of a wedding. Even if that wasn't the case, my new job would have prevented me from attending as well. Responsibility trumps fashion playtime.

If I had gone, this definitely would have been one of my looks. I just love this outfit, and the rebel in me likes flying in the face of antiquated fashion rules. Who says you can't wear white after labor day? Not only is white incredibly chic, but winter white just makes sense!

I'm also really obsessed with these shoes, and I've found that their actually a favorite of most of my readers and friends. They're sweet and edgy, something I try to incorporate into most of my looks, so I can see why people like them so much. They were my first purchase from the Piperlime store in Soho after landing my first real job and I've loved them every day since.
