Superiorly Striped

I'm going to be honest, I love everything about this outfit... minus the oxfords. Oxfords look completely adorable on lots of women, but I feel like they look contrived and forced on me. Guess what? That's how you know something doesn't work well for you. 

It's totally okay to go for a certain style and not like some of the key pieces involved in that style. You just replace it with something else! In my case I'm replacing it with slip on sneakers and booties. I've become completely obsessed with both. When I head to NYFW tomorrow I'm going to be living in a fringed pair the entire weekend... and I'm not sorry about it.

This striped tee is my new favorite thing. It was on my must-buy list for fall/winter and this (plus the blue version I bought) have quickly become essentials in my wardrobe. As I've said before, unless I'm doing something very specific over the weekends I live in some sort of version of the tee/shorts combo. It's effortless, classic and totally versatile. Why mess with a good thing?

Next time I'll just be swapping out the oxfords for some sneaks. Or booties. ;)
