I've grown on the chambray dress. I was really grossed out by the idea at first, the baggy denim numbers I wore during my 90's childhood flashed before my eyes any time the word "chambray" came up. However, I have now decided that chambray can be fabulous when done correctly.
My friend moved out of town recently and bestowed this pretty frock on me. I just love the ruffled detail on the back. I don't usually wear outfits that require a strapless bra, but this little number was too lovely not to wear. I decided to sport it while shopping in Miami, and I paired it with low wedges that were easy to walk in. The cross body Kate Spade kept my hands free to peruse the racks, and I wound up walking out with a gorgeous pair of silver high-heeled sandals.

I love the back of the dress, it adds more interest. The shoes look great too!
