I was an total manga nerd in middle school and high school. I'd pour over graphic novels with these skinny girls in tiny sailor skirts, wishing I could wield magical abilities and ride dragons just like they did.
Maybe that's why I love this skirt so much. It's a throwback to my younger days. But this time, I look more like the girl I wished I was as that 13-year-old nerd.
I'm just riding my metaphorical dragons and wielding the powers of style and the pen.
