There's nothing like a great meal to put yourself at ease. Atlantic Avenue is full of amazing shops and restaurants, I've had some of the best food I've ever eaten on this street. All at different restaurants. These snaps were taken right after enjoying a plate of mussels, shrimp n' grits and a slice of key lime pie with my mother
Julia Child was right about food people being the best people. There's nothing like enjoying a drink and participating in great conversation over cuisine. I've always considered myself a foodie as well as a fashionista, and there's no company I've enjoyed more than the company I've shared meals with.
Dinner parties hosted at my father's apartment were always best with fresh pesto and a handcrafted margarita (none of that pre-made mix is allowed in his house). Boeuf bourguignon made by my mother was always amplified by a bottle of wine and the latest gossip in the neighborhood. Some of my deepest conversations and greatest memories have been held over a plate of nachos or a burger with truffle fries.
The people that know how to enjoy their food are the ones to keep close to you, because they're the ones that know how to enjoy everything life has to offer.
