Last week I had an adventure in my kitchen thanks to Cooking Comically's 2 a.m. Chili recipe. Tyler Capps is the genius behind this site, and he makes it ridiculously easy to cook at home. By the way, I totally underestimated just how cheap it was to make this meal. When my bill came out to just over $30 (this fed my roommate and me for a week), I almost lost it.

Basically, you saute the fresh veggies, combined the canned ingredients, combine the seasoning and brown the beef. Add your beef to the pot of canned ingredients, then add the sauteed veggies. Add the seasoning and a shot of beer and a few pinches of brown sugar, bring the concoction to a boil and then let it simmer for however long you have.

So easy, so yummy. I topped mine with cheddar and sour cream, my roomie opted for just cheddar.
