Interviews with My Inspirations: J.K. Rowling

While I can't say I love all of Oprah's interview questions, I love getting more insight into J.K. Rowling. She really is a testament to how a big idea and belief in yourself can transform your life. The woman went from being poor to being richer than the queen of England.

Harry Potter changed many children's lives, including mine. She gave us a world filled with magic and imagination, and even now she has millions of fans around the world. I remember spending every summer reading the latest book, devouring it. Typically I finished in less than a week. The last two I finished in two days. 

I'd also like to note that her website, Pottermore, placed me in the Gryffindor house. If I didn't believe I was a Leo before, I definitely did then.
